"I have known Lake County Board Member Bob Powers for many years and have always been in awe and appreciative of all his efforts to improve the quality of life for residents in the Greater Round Lake area as well as Lake County, itself.
There are not many community events that one can attend and not see Bob Powers volunteering his time, meeting and speaking with community members, helping municipalities and supporting the various non profit organizations in our area.
Bob has been a great support to me as I chaired the Greater Round Lake Area Memorial Day Parade, volunteered at the local Round Lake Radio Station WRLR 98.3 and while serving as the President of the Board of Directors of Mano a Mano Family Resource Center Foundation he helped to find funding options.
